Radslav Humbled Before Saint Wenceslas – Maixner

Radslav Humbled Before Saint Wenceslas is a restored nineteenth-century engraving after Czech painter Petr Maixner. In the old legend, the rebel prince Radslav rode out to fight Wenceslaus, saw angels and the sign of the cross with the saint, and threw down his arms to kneel before him.

Fine engraved detail for feast-day materials, Czech heritage projects and classroom lessons on the saints.
